Welcome to the web site of the International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies (IFPCS). The IFPCS consists of four regional scientific societies devoted to the study of various aspects of pigment cells, the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research (ASPCR), the European Society for Pigment Cell Research (ESPCR), the Japanese Society for Pigment Cell Research (JSPCR) and the PanAmerican Society for Pigment Cell Research (PASPCR). InterPig DataBase

The InterPig DataBase lists reagents, probes and other materials available for research targeted towards pigment cells, including those for chemical, biochemical, immunological, molecular biology and other types of studies. There is also a table of loci that affect mouse coat color.

Mouse Coat Color Genes

The Mouse Coat Color Gene table lists all murine coat color genes that have been reported to be isolated. The table includes the human homologues and associated human genetic diseases when known. There are links to The Jackson Laboratories and OMIM for each entry.
